ACUPUNCTURE & HERBAL HEALING
Acupuncture
Acupuncture stimulates and supports your body’s innate capacity to heal itself by freeing your Qi. Qi is a vital life force energy that flows through the body in meridians. The insertion of sterilized, hair-thin needles into your body’s acupuncture points stimulates the meridians and frees the Qi energy to help restore your health.
Micro-Needling
Microneedling is a natural and effective way to rejuvenate your skin and support its ability to repair itself. This minimally invasive procedure uses ultra-fine, sterilized needles to create tiny micro-injuries on the skin’s surface, stimulating collagen and elastin production. The result is improved skin tone and texture, reduced wrinkles, minimized acne scars, and enhanced overall radiance. Microneedling can also promote hair regrowth on the scalp, reduce the appearance of stretch marks, and improve the look of scars, offering a versatile solution to various skin concerns while encouraging a more youthful, revitalized appearance. Results take a minimum of 4-6 sessions.
Herbal Medicine
Chinese herbal medicine is strong, safe, and effective in treating individual imbalances. After a consultation, Heather will prescribe custom herbal formulas to address what ails you. Combined with acupuncture, herbal medicine offers a faster and more comprehensive method of treatment, with fewer side effects than Western pharmaceuticals.
Nutritional Counseling
Food is our primary medicine. If you want to enjoy good health, addressing your diet is essential. As a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Heather combines her knowledge of nutrition with her training in Chinese Medicine to help you find the root of your digestive problems.

BODYWORK
Cupping and Gua Sha
Cupping and Gua Sha are therapies that promote blood circulation within muscles. Cupping is often used to treat sore or tight muscles, while Gua Sha is typically used at the onset of a cold.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a method of stimulating acupuncture points by using heat and a traditional Chinese herb called Ai Ye. This warming herb is held over points to promote Qi and blood circulation.
Pre/Postnatal
Specific bodywork techniques can reduce pregnancy discomfort and concerns while enhancing the physiological and emotional wellbeing of both mother and fetus. Skilled, appropriate touch facilitates labor, shortening labor times and easing pain and anxiety. In the postpartum period, specialized techniques re-balance the mother’s structure, physiology, and emotions, and may help her to bond with and care for her child.
Tui Na Massage
Tui na (“push pull”) is an ancient form of Chinese physical therapy that combines tapping, rolling, traction, stretching, deep tissue, and acupressure points. It gently stimulates the nervous system, Qi, blood, and lymphatic flow — and is both deeply penetrating and lightly nourishing.
Shiatsu
Developed in Japan, shiatsu is a finger-pressure technique utilizing traditional acupuncture points. Shiatsu concentrates on unblocking the flow of life energy and restoring balance in the meridians and organs in order to promote self-healing.
