Meet Heather

Heather Bedient is a Nationally-Certified and California Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist Certified Massage Therapist, and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. With over 20 years of holistic bodywork experience, she offers a unique treatment style that incorporates Eastern and Western philosophies — combining skilled, intuitive touch with a natural aptitude for orthopedic, sports medicine and pain management.

Heather’s approach to treatment is a result of her varied professional work and academic training — including ACTCM Community Clinic, California Pacific Medical Center Stroke and Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center, and Berkeley Primary Care. She interned with Dr. Edith Ubuntu Chan for over three years, and continues to study Classical Five Element Acupuncture to inform her clinical focuses: digestion, poor sleep, headaches, women’s health, and mental and emotional conditions.

Heather’s practice is greatly influenced by her background as a lifelong athlete, holistic health advocate, and her passion for yoga and meditation. Not only a health care provider and healer, Heather is a runner, yogini, ocean swimmer, world traveler and animal lover. She lives in Pacifica, CA with her family.
